"Leaf" a good impression on the guests at your Thanksgiving gathering this year with your own handmade tray and name card holders! In the first session, Students will use slab and pinch construction techniques to create a tray and name card holders before impressing leaves into the surface to create a one-of a kind design. Students are welcome to BYOL (bring your own leaves!) for this part of the project. CALC will also have some leaves available for you to use.

After the pieces get bisque fired, students will return for a second session to apply under glaze to color their leaves, and clear glaze to finish. 

After their final firing, students will be able to pick up their festive fall creations in time to use at Thanksgiving! Each student will leave with a tray and name card holders for all their guests.

Refund and Cancellation Policies:

As a nonprofit organization, the Carlisle Arts Learning Center reserves the right to cancel a course that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, or postpone any program or activity due to unforeseen circumstances. When the Carlisle Arts Learning Center cancels a class, registered students automatically receive a credit towards another class. It is the students responsibility to contact CALC to fulfill this credit. CALC will provide full refunds in the case of a cancelled class when necessary.

In order to request a withdrawal from a class or workshop, students must contact CALC at least 72 hours before the first class date. Students who request a withdrawal before the 72 hour period will receive a 90% refund or 100% class credit. Students withdrawing fewer than 72 hours before the first day of class are not eligible for a refund or class credit.

Please note we are unable to provide make-up opportunities, prorate or provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.
