Learn how to combine printmaking practices with ceramics in this fun two-part workshop! In the first sessions, students will learn how to carve a block print and impress it into round clay ornaments.

After bisque firing, students will return for a second session to underglaze the impression their block left in the clay, sealing it with a layer of shiny clear glaze. We will finish the day by using our blocks as they are traditionally used- inking and stamping  a series of holiday cards to match your ornaments.

After their final firing, students will be able to pick up their ornaments in time to use as holiday décor or give as unique handmade gifts! Each student will leave with a set of 6 ornaments and up to 12 cards.
