ArtWorks

A place to grow through creativity, camaraderie, and community engagement.
Art, service, and social connection come together in ArtWorks, CALC's application-based after-school program for students in grades 7–9.
ArtWorks gives young people a supportive space to build creative skills, confidence, relationships, and a stronger connection to their community. Students explore a variety of art forms, work independently and collaboratively, and participate in projects that encourage them to use their creativity beyond the classroom.

No formal art experience is required. We are looking for students who are interested in making, experimenting, connecting with others, and growing creatively.

ArtWorks isn't always confined to the CALC building! As part of the program's emphasis on community engagement, students may occasionally participate in supervised projects, activities, or experiences at locations in the Carlisle community.

ArtWorks is a scholarship-supported program, made possible, in part, through generous community funding from the Partnership for Better Health so that cost is not a barrier to participation.

Accepted students pay a $50 materials fee, which helps cover art supplies used throughout the program. Additional assistance with the materials fee is available for families who need it.

ArtWorks is an application-based program with limited enrollment. Applications help our team get to know each student, understand their interests and support needs, and create a positive environment in which participants can learn, create, and connect.

Completing an application does not guarantee placement. CALC will contact families following application review regarding enrollment. Please complete the application below to be considered for ArtWorks.
