(in CALC’s Upper Gallery)
Portraits have the unique ability to evoke the soul and profoundly affect those who see them. By linking artists with families and friends of victims of gun violence, Souls Shot Portrait Project brings attention to and memorializes lives lost and tragically altered. This collection unites diverse works that relay the essence of the person being portrayed, to pay tribute, raise awareness, and call viewers to action.
