Discover the relaxing and creative art of Kinusaiga, a beautiful Japanese fabric art technique that uses small pieces of fabric to create colorful designs—without sewing! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the basic techniques step by step and create your own unique Kinusaiga project to take home.

Participants will learn the history and basic concept of this Japanese fabric art, explore how to select colors, patterns, and textures that work well together, learn how to transfer a simple pattern, as well as fabric cutting, tucking and finishing techniques. At the end of the class, each student will have completed their own Kinusaiga fabric art project to take home and enjoy.

**No previous experience is needed—just bring your creativity and have fun!

Refund and Cancellation Policies:

As a nonprofit organization, the Carlisle Arts Learning Center reserves the right to cancel a course that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, or postpone any program or activity due to unforeseen circumstances. When the Carlisle Arts Learning Center cancels a class, registered students automatically receive a credit towards another class. It is the students responsibility to contact CALC to fulfill this credit. CALC will provide full refunds in the case of a cancelled class when necessary.

In order to request a withdrawal from a class or workshop, students must contact CALC at least 72 hours before the first class date. Students who request a withdrawal before the 72 hour period will receive a 90% refund or 100% class credit. Students withdrawing fewer than 72 hours before the first day of class are not eligible for a refund or class credit.

Please note we are unable to provide make-up opportunities, prorate or provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.
