Workshop Fee: $70 ($85 for non-member) + $22 material fee

Join us to naturally dye a one-of-a-kind scarf.  We’ll use fresh eucalyptus leaves to create a unique pattern on a silk scarf. Through the magic of eco dyeing the leaves impart their color to the cloth. In the morning session you’ll put your scarf together, place them in the dye bath and learn about the process. We’ll also make string bracelets from naturally dyed cotton with a naturally dyed bead as we wait for the water to boil.  While the scarves are dyeing, you’ll have free time from 11:30 to 1:30 to have lunch, relax and visit the downtown shops. At 1:30 p.m. we’ll remove the scarves from the bath and have the “big reveal”.

Refund and Cancellation Policies:

As a nonprofit organization, the Carlisle Arts Learning Center reserves the right to cancel a course that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, or postpone any program or activity due to unforeseen circumstances. When the Carlisle Arts Learning Center cancels a class, registered students automatically receive a credit towards another class. It is the students responsibility to contact CALC to fulfill this credit. CALC will provide full refunds in the case of a cancelled class when necessary.

In order to request a withdrawal from a class or workshop, students must contact CALC at least 72 hours before the first class date. Students who request a withdrawal before the 72 hour period will receive a 90% refund or 100% class credit. Students withdrawing fewer than 72 hours before the first day of class are not eligible for a refund or class credit.

Please note we are unable to provide make-up opportunities, prorate or provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.
