This beginner-friendly class introduces the tools and materials used in professional jewelry finishing. Students will practice essential skills such as stringing beads, attaching clasps, and using crimp beads and wire guards to create durable, polished pieces. Along the way, you’ll explore basic design principles of color, balance, and repetition.

All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Participants will leave with one or more finished pieces and the confidence to continue making jewelry at home by:

• Selecting and designing with semi-precious beads

• Measuring and stringing bracelets and necklaces

• Attaching clasps using professional finishing techniques

• Using crimp beads, crimp covers, and wire guards

• Adding charms and spacers for personalization

• Proper use of basic jewelry tools

Refund and Cancellation Policies:

As a nonprofit organization, the Carlisle Arts Learning Center reserves the right to cancel a course that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, or postpone any program or activity due to unforeseen circumstances. When the Carlisle Arts Learning Center cancels a class, registered students automatically receive a credit towards another class. It is the students responsibility to contact CALC to fulfill this credit. CALC will provide full refunds in the case of a cancelled class when necessary.

In order to request a withdrawal from a class or workshop, students must contact CALC at least 72 hours before the first class date. Students who request a withdrawal before the 72 hour period will receive a 90% refund or 100% class credit. Students withdrawing fewer than 72 hours before the first day of class are not eligible for a refund or class credit.

Please note we are unable to provide make-up opportunities, prorate or provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.
