Both traditional glazed Raku and Obvara (Baltic Raku) will be the focus of this one-day workshop. Students will create work independently, then prepare it for firing at the workshop.

Your 8 lb bag of Raku clay will be labeled with your name and found top of the green shelf in the studio next to the wedging table starting Wednesday, September 2nd. All pieces must be on the greenware shelf for bisque firing on Saturday, October 3rd. A labeled Raku reclaim bucket will be located under the studio sink.
