If purchased, this piece must be left on display at the Cameron-Masland Mansion through the end of the exhibit on November 8. CALC staff will pick the work up from the mansion the following week and will contact buyers to arrange pick up of the work from our facility at 38. W. Pomfret Street in Carlisle. Pick-up is preferred, but arrangements can also be made at that time to ship work for a shipping fee. Quotes cannot be provided for shipping until after Nov 8. We will do our best to keep shipping affordable, while getting your purchase to you safely.

Artist Statement
This piece was inspired by an encounter that I had with a Snowy Owl near my home in Mechanicsburg. I've been keeping a life list of birds for years, and this is one that I have always wanted to see. I traveled to Maine a number of years ago when I heard there were quite a few being seen along the coast. I was not successful in spotting one. I had a neighbor tell me a few years ago that there was one being seen regularly over the winter in my area, so I went to check it out. It took a couple of days, but I finally had the privilege of seeing one for myself. This was a lot of fun to draw! I used Prismacolor pencils.
