If purchased, this piece must be left on display at the Cameron-Masland Mansion through the end of the exhibit on November 8. CALC staff will pick the work up from the mansion the following week and will contact buyers to arrange pick up of the work from our facility at 38. W. Pomfret Street in Carlisle. Pick-up is preferred, but arrangements can also be made at that time to ship work for a shipping fee. Quotes cannot be provided for shipping until after Nov 8. We will do our best to keep shipping affordable, while getting your purchase to you safely.

About Sue

Sue Marrazzo is an award-winning experimental artist who works in collage, mixed media, acrylic, sculpture, and encaustic painting.  Sue’s art tends to be influenced by fashion, interior design, and art history.  She believes, “Art is about learning to see.“  Sue’s strengths as an artist are with color theory and composition.  She describes her art as: “Bold, Colorful, Experimental, and Individualistic.“

 

Sue Marrazzo has exhibited in numerous local, regional, national and international juried shows, and exhibits.  She currently teaches collage, abstract painting, and experimental mixed media at the Art Center School and Galleries, Mechanicsburg, PA. Sue also teaches art parties, and workshops. She was a guest art instructor at the Art Association of Harrisburg for Fall 2012, and Winter 2013. The artist has won many awards, and juried acceptances…like the 2011 PA Art of the State, at the PA State Museum; and the 2010 Rottler Award of Excellence in Visual Arts, at the York Art Association.  Sue is a signature member of the International Society of Acrylic Painters, and belongs to many art societies and associations. Her collages are featured in the National Collage Society’s 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2018, 2020, 2022, 2023 Juried Member’s Annual Calendar. Sue won the “Cutting Edge” Award in the 2012 International Society of Experimental Artists Annual Juried Show.  In 2013, Sue received her signature status with the National Collage Society. In 2015, Sue became the co-owner of the Textured Art Gallery Online International Blog Community., and it is now on Facebook .  The artist has judged juried local and national art exhibitions. In 2022, Sue was the sole juror for the Art Association of Harrisburg’s Annual Figure Art Exhibit. In 2017, Sue started an online mixed media art class, and started teaching workshops at the York Art Association. In 2018, Sue was an exhibiting artist at the Mount Gretna Art Show. Sue continues exhibiting her art in solo art shows, and group exhibits. Sue will continue teaching mixed media art classes and art workshops at Carlisle Arts Learning Center Art Association of Harrisburg, Adams County Arts Council, and York Art Association. In 2020, Sue received her first professional licensing project.  Also, in 2020, the artist was awarded her Signature Member Status with International Society of Experimental Artists. In 2025, Sue received her Nautilus Fellow Signature Status with ISEA.
