Days: 3 Tuesdays + 1 Saturday to fire work
Dates: Tuesdays September 22, 29, and October 6 from 6-8:30 pm and Saturday, October 10 from 9 am-1 pm
Time: Tuesdays 6:00 – 8:30 pm and Saturday 9:00 am- 1:00 pm
Class Fee: $200 ($215 non-member) + $30 Materials Fee

Both traditional glazed Raku and Obvara (Baltic Raku) will be the focus of this class. Students will create work, then prepare it for firing. Three evening classes will afford participants the opportunity to make work, have it bisque fired and prepared for the final firing.

*Final class will meet Saturday, October 10th at CALC (9-1pm) to load kilns and fire work.

Refund and Cancellation Policies:

As a nonprofit organization, the Carlisle Arts Learning Center reserves the right to cancel a course that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, or postpone any program or activity due to unforeseen circumstances. When the Carlisle Arts Learning Center cancels a class, registered students automatically receive a credit towards another class. It is the students responsibility to contact CALC to fulfill this credit. CALC will provide full refunds in the case of a cancelled class when necessary.

In order to request a withdrawal from a class or workshop, students must contact CALC at least 72 hours before the first class date. Students who request a withdrawal before the 72 hour period will receive a 90% refund or 100% class credit. Students withdrawing fewer than 72 hours before the first day of class are not eligible for a refund or class credit.

Please note we are unable to provide make-up opportunities, prorate or provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.
