The human figure is one of the most enduring subjects in art history. Students will learn the art of figure drawing by working from the unclothed model. Students will learn the steps to drawing the figure in the academic tradition from gesture drawings to fully realized finished figure drawings. This class is for all skill levels and students will receive individual instruction throughout the course.

18” x 24” Drawing pad
Vine charcoal
Compressed charcoal/graphite pencils
Kneaded eraser
Refund and Cancellation Policies:
As a nonprofit organization, the Carlisle Arts Learning Center reserves the right to cancel a course that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, or postpone any program or activity due to unforeseen circumstances. When the Carlisle Arts Learning Center cancels a class, registered students automatically receive a credit towards another class. It is the students responsibility to contact CALC to fulfill this credit. CALC will provide full refunds in the case of a cancelled class when necessary.
In order to request a withdrawal from a class or workshop, students must contact CALC at least 72 hours before the first class date. Students who request a withdrawal before the 72 hour period will receive a 90% refund or 100% class credit. Students withdrawing fewer than 72 hours before the first day of class are not eligible for a refund or class credit.
Please note we are unable to provide make-up opportunities, prorate or provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.
