With Spring comes gardening! In this hands-on workshop, you design and create your own set of 3 Plant Markers (also suitable for houseplants!) learning basic glass skills, using provided base glass and decorative elements.
You will learn basic glass cutting/shaping skills and tool use, explore design and composition unique to glass, and learn basic properties of glass as an art material. These skills will be beneficial in future glass coursework - particularly glass fusing and cutting/shaping will be helpful in stained glass and glass mosaic.
The instructor will kiln-fire your markers, which will be available for pickup within 10 days.
Additional markers can be made with time permitting for a $12 materials fee for each.
All skill levels, no glass experience necessary.
