Sessions will be held outdoors at several off-site locations which offer both landscape and architectural options. A quick meet-up at the beginning to discuss the special properties of the location will be followed by independent work in the medium of your choice. Instructor will circulate and help with questions and offer feedback. A quick show-and-tell at the end of each session will bring participants together for more engagement and feedback! Join us!

Locations may include Children's Lake, Talking Breads, Letort Park, Letort Spring Preserve, and suggestions from participants. Adjustments could be made for weather.

Material list:

1. Students supply and use materials of their choice. Graphite, sketchbook, pastels, watercolors, etc.

2. Chair, water, sun protection, easel or drawing board if needed as this class is outdoors.

Teacher will provide a variety of other paper and materials to try.

Refund and Cancellation Policies:

As a nonprofit organization, the Carlisle Arts Learning Center reserves the right to cancel a course that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, or postpone any program or activity due to unforeseen circumstances. When the Carlisle Arts Learning Center cancels a class, registered students automatically receive a credit towards another class. It is the students responsibility to contact CALC to fulfill this credit. CALC will provide full refunds in the case of a cancelled class when necessary.

In order to request a withdrawal from a class or workshop, students must contact CALC at least 72 hours before the first class date. Students who request a withdrawal before the 72 hour period will receive a 90% refund or 100% class credit. Students withdrawing fewer than 72 hours before the first day of class are not eligible for a refund or class credit.

Please note we are unable to provide make-up opportunities, prorate or provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.
