Come with your pals (including any/all types of moms in your life) for a fun creative evening of glass pendant making with a complimentary bubbly beverage of choice and some sweet treats and light snacks to keep the energy flowing.

In this hands-on workshop, you will create 3 of your own beautiful and unique fused glass pendants, and a bonus pair of earrings, learning basic glass skills, using provided base glass and decorative elements including dichroic glass.

You will learn basic glass cutting/shaping skills and tool use, explore design and composition unique to glass, and learn basic properties of glass as an art material. These skills will be beneficial in future glass coursework - particularly glass fusing and cutting/shaping will be helpful in stained glass and glass mosaic.

Your instructor will fire your projects in off-site glass kilns, add your chosen pendant bails with black satin cords, and stud/dangle earring components, and your pieces will be available for pickup at CALC in 7-10 days.

Additional pendants or earring pairs can be made with time permitting for a $10 materials fee for each.

All skill levels, no glass experience necessary.

Please wear close-toed shoes.
