Class Fee: $120 ($135 for non-member) + $10 materials fee

If getting things “right” is a frustration for you, join us for a drawing class focused on the basics.  We will be drawing from still-life set ups which will allow for conversations about value, form, proportion, light and shadow, and the tricky work of turning 3-D into a 2 – D image. There will be plenty of exercises and practice time.

Material list:

1. Sketchbook (minimum size 8 x 10)

2. Set of drawing pencils which includes an HB

3. At least one soft (B) and 1 hard (H) pencil. 

Teacher will provide a variety of other paper and materials to try.

Refund and Cancellation Policies:

As a nonprofit organization, the Carlisle Arts Learning Center reserves the right to cancel a course that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, or postpone any program or activity due to unforeseen circumstances. When the Carlisle Arts Learning Center cancels a class, registered students automatically receive a credit towards another class. It is the students responsibility to contact CALC to fulfill this credit. CALC will provide full refunds in the case of a cancelled class when necessary.

In order to request a withdrawal from a class or workshop, students must contact CALC at least 72 hours before the first class date. Students who request a withdrawal before the 72 hour period will receive a 90% refund or 100% class credit. Students withdrawing fewer than 72 hours before the first day of class are not eligible for a refund or class credit.

Please note we are unable to provide make-up opportunities, prorate or provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.
