• TODAY WE WILL FEATURE LINDA BENZON •
Enjoy the process that Linda Benzon goes through to create a beautifully framed image that she was able to capture in time.
The order of the photos reflects my process in getting an image from the camera to the wall. (The process of shooting photos is another topic!) All of the images of framed photos are pieces that I have worked on during recent days, using re-purposed frames and materials on hand. For me, the best part of my recent work is "finally getting around to" projects that I've been wanting to do for a while now. It's also been interesting to begin the image selection process with the frame... choosing images that work well with the frame, rather then searching for a frame to fit an image. Since Covid-19 the concept of time has changed for me, so that there is no concern about the hours spent on the process for one photo. In the case of the photo in the antique window frame, to me the final result was worth the considerable time invested.... I love viewing it in my office.
