Gail Walden Coleman is an abstract painter from Mechanicsburg, PA. Known for her non-representational, “gestural intuitive” style of painting and her dynamic use of colors, she is now applying her art to help fund area food banks. In just over a week, she has raised $950 (5700 meals) for area food banks. For each donation of $15, she mails out one original art bookmark. For a $25 donation, she mails out 2. So far 36 bookmarks have been mailed and another 18 are about to be completed. Donations can be made to your chosen food bank, including Project Share in Carlisle.
