This four-week class is designed to help first-time sock knitters understand the basics of top-down sock knitting. Learn how to follow a basic top-down sock pattern which includes picking up stitches, turning a heel, and how to graft a toe seam using Kitchener Stitch!
MATERIALS: 268 yds worsted weight wool, set of four US 6 / 4.0 mm DPN’s, stitch markers, darning needle, + Laule’a pattern by cabin four which can be downloaded here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/laulea)
PREREQUISITE: basic knitting skills, comfortable using dpns (double point needles)
