In this after school class we will spend time making projects on the potters wheel, hand-building, glazing and finishing our pieces as well as learning some of the origins and varieties of different ceramic techniques.
John Guarnera, has most recently taught children’s summer classes for CALC. He has previously taught both adult and children’s classes forthe Harrisburg Art Association, William Penn Memorial Museum, Harrisburg Craftsmen’s Guild, HACC, Harrisburg School District and several other central PA facilities. John is retired and works as an artist & potter.
Group programs in ceramics
Programs designed specically for your group or organization. Perfect for eld trips, scout troops, homeschool students, etc. Class content and scheduling are coordinated with the instructor. Class cost covers instruction, materials and kiln ring where appropriate.

CALC Refund Policy for Art Classes
Carlisle Arts Learning Center does not provide a cash refund for cancellation of art classes, unless the class is cancelled by CALC. If the student cancels with a notice of at least 30 days prior to the start of the class a gift certi cate will be issued for 100% of the class fee. If the student cancels with less than 30 days prior notice a gift certi cate will be issued for 90% of the class value.
