CALC's "CLAY"ground of FUN

Working with clay has never been more entertaining! Learn hand building techniques and all of the tricks of the "clay" trade to unleash the silly, serious and creative artist in you.

Week Two: June 24 – June 28

“Master”ful Painting
Teacher: Sue Gamble
Ages: 5 – 11

Step aside Picasso.... this camp will teach the many painting techniques of master painters and encourage children to paint a masterpiece of their own that will be ready to hang. By the end of camp, the paint will be dry but the camp is guaranteed not to be!

The CALC world of architecture and design is awaiting your registration. Students will create 3D projects using a variety of materials and art mediums. This camp is a great tool for "building bridges" between problem solving and creativity.

The Wacky World of Nonsense Art

Back by popular demand! Clay, painting, drawing and sculpture techniques will meet forces with culture, art and the weird and the wacky. Children will be encouraged to let their imaginations run wild!

It's a ZOO at CALC! …Invertebrates to Mammals

Artwork will hatch all week! Inspiration will come from the slithering and the squawking and will be created in a variety of feathery and furry mediums. Both 2D and 3D projects will be explored and experienced.

Children will get the RED carpet treatment and will be tickled PINK to learn about color and contrast. The GREEN light will be given for a creativity explosion in this camp! Both clay and canvas will come alive with color!

There is plenty of "ROOM" for fun as campers create a mini collaged diorama with their own unique scene. This week is full of personality and celebrates your personality... a perfect way to cap off a perfect summer of art fun.
