This class combines an introduction to fundamental Photoshop capabilities with class content inspired by alternatives to digital image production. Basic Photoshop program functions including resolution, resizing, cropping, cloning, color correction, and beginning retouching will be discussed. [Layers will not be covered.]  In addition, “Outside the box” photographic tools such as disposable cameras, cell phones, and scanners will be explored.  The goal is to have students go beyond convention and elevate their creative thinking.
