Learn the basics of watercolor painting, how to create different colors, draw and create your own painting. This class would be great for beginners or if you’re just a little rusty.

Create a personal sketchbook from top to bottom.  In the first session you will marble fabric for a book cover and paper for end page. We will also create some small folded books. In the second session you will put the book together, learning to sew folios and glue end pages.

Beginner Oil Painting

Have you always wanted to learn oil painting but were a little intimidated by the process? Follow along with Lina as she explains step by step, the use of materials, value studies, color mixing and more. Students will complete a trio of pears on a marble table. Each class builds on the next so it is important that you are able to come to each class. Paints and canvas supplied. Please bring your own brushes and paper towels.

Impressionist Landscapes in Watercolor

Paint seasonal scenes like Winter, summer, spring or fall landscapes in watercolor.  The student must have had Basic or beginning watercolor classes. Photos provided by the instructor for you to work from or bring your own inspiring photos. 

Bring watercolor paint, brushes and paper supplies you are used to using.
Paper can be purchased from the instructor.

CALC Refund Policy for Art Classes
Carlisle Arts Learning Center does not provide a cash refund for cancellation of art classes, unless the class is cancelled by CALC. In order to request a withdrawal from a class or workshop, students must contact CALC at least 5 days before the first class meeting. Students who request a withdrawal at least 5 days prior to the first meeting will receive a 90% tuition class credit. Students withdrawing fewer than 5 days from the first day of class are not eligible for a class credit.
Please note we are unable to provide make-up opportunities, prorate or provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.
