This is a basic introduction to the concepts of improv, including “Yes, and” and “sharing focus”. Class will consist of a group activities to get people comfortable with being “on stage”, but also a lot of two person scenes and a session on monologues. The class would end with an “Armando” which is a show consisting of 2 sets of three scenes and a monologue opener with scenes being edited off-stage.
CALC Refund Policy for Art Classes
Carlisle Arts Learning Center does not provide a cash refund for cancellation of art classes, unless the class is cancelled by CALC. In order to request a withdrawal from a class or workshop, students must contact CALC at least 5 days before the first class meeting. Students who request a withdrawal at least 5 days prior to the first meeting will receive a 90% tuition class credit. Students withdrawing fewer than 5 days from the first day of class are not eligible for a class credit.
Please note we are unable to provide make-up opportunities, prorate or provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.
