For
19 years, Empty Bowls, an event to benefit Project SHARE, has been carrying on a tradition
of giving to the community. This year this tradition of giving superseded all expectations
and gave testament
to just how special our Carlisle community is. The evening was a wonderful success! The
somber reality
that hunger still exists in our community was warmed with live music donated by the
talents
of the Blue Mountain Ramblers, a silent auction of donated artists works, and over 250
beautiful bowls,
handcrafted by CALC artisans Kurt Brantner and Tom Oakes along with Brooke Wiley and other
community members.
Many thanks go to Jean Macaluso for pouring her heart and soul into this necessary cause.
