Material fee: $5.00 model fee for Drawing Faces and Figures only
Each workshop will explore a different element of drawing.
Workshops are offered (and priced) individually; sign up for one or all.
DRAW and PAINT

4 Wednesdays: February 2, 9, 16, 23
6pm - 8PM
Cost: $80 (members $70)
Materials: Students supply their own sketch pad and pencil set
We will work on accurate drawing, composition and transfer
skills and then tackle color as each student starts their painting in their chosen medium:
watercolor, acrylics, or oils.
Note: Students should bring a photograph to first class, or
may choose to work from instructor supplied inspiration.
BASIC DRAWING

Learn the joy of drawing! 5 sessions cover essential elements
such as line, shape, shading and composition. An 11" x 14" tablet, #4B pencil
and rubber eraser are included in the material fee.
SOPS/Sunday Open Painting Studio (Watercolor)

If you love to paint with watercolor and find theres
just too many distractions at home, this ones for you. Come join this group of
like-minded artists and work at your own pace with floral, still life, portrait, landscape
or abstract. Paint your passion! Instructor has several landscape photos to choose from or
bring your own. A floral still life display will be set up at each class. A paid up CALC
membership is also requested. Students should bring their own painting materials (palette,
paper, water buckets, brushes, paints, drawing materials, etc.)
If the student chooses to paint the still life, then a digital
camera should be brought to class.
WORKING in WATERCOLOR

5 Mondays: April 4, 11, 18, 25 and May 2

Class cost: $115 (members $100)
Materials: List supplied to registrants. Cost will be minimal.
For the beginner to the more experienced student, learn how to
play with watercolors for more control of the medium, maximizing your skill in what you
want to achieve. Students will learn to experiment with composition, dark and light,
red/yellow/blue...
