Crash Course Wheel 101

In this three-week intensive course, students will get their hands muddy and try the wheel.  Focus will be on getting behind the wheel and learning the foundations of the ceramic process; making, trimming, and glazing.  Geared towards beginners and those wanting to refresh their skills, this class is open to all levels.

Crash Course: Coil Pots

Learn one of the oldest building techniques in clay. One coil at a time, layered and spiraled upward, design and build your own coiled vessel in this three week course.

Carved Tumbler

SURFACE SERIES WORKSHOPS 
Workshops meant for all levels of experience. Led by professional artists, these workshops focus on specific techniques in ceramics. Students will walk away with the skills necessary to apply these new techniques to their own studio practice.

A fun night out at CALC.

CALC Refund Policy for Art Classes
Carlisle Arts Learning Center does not provide a cash refund for cancellation of art classes, unless the class is cancelled by CALC. In order to request a withdrawal from a class or workshop, students must contact CALC at least 5 days before the first class meeting. Students who request a withdrawal at least 5 days prior to the first meeting will receive a 90% tuition class credit. Students withdrawing fewer than 5 days from the first day of class are not eligible for a class credit.
Please note we are unable to provide make-up opportunities, prorate or provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.
