S.E.E. Art Salon is open to those who are interested in and have respect for the history of the visual arts and a belief in the inherent value of the arts to the community and to individuals.

Art discussions are facilitated by experienced artists and professors and take place in CALC’s gallery. All discussions are meant to be fun and creatively invigorating. Beverages & snacks are always ever present at CALC!

“Burning Man”

6p.m. Dinner & 7p.m. Lecture 

Demi is a local artist, art teacher and attendee of the Burning Man Festival.  Burning Man is an annual week-long experiment in temporary community. Dedicated to anti-consumerism and self-expression, the Burning Man art festival traditionally culminates with the burning of a large wooden sculpture of a man. Burning Man is also devoted to acts of gift giving. Join us at 6:00p.m. for a community dinner, bring a dish to share in the gifting tradition of Burning Man.
