Get your creative hats on and head over to CALC for these fun, “Make & Take” workshops. Perfect fit for all skill levels and our busy lives. Snacks & beverages are provided to enhance the fun experience.

Finger Painting for All!

Date:  Wednesday, November 15
Artist: Carol Reed
Need a little stress reduction as you prepare for the holidays. Relax and let your inner child play with finger painting! Traditional finger paint and acrylic paint will be used to create abstract and realistic style works. Latex gloves will be provided. Come, have fun and please wear old clothes!

Class Fee: $15

Materials fee: $10

Craft Beer & Clay

Teacher: Thom Bissey

Cost per session:
$35 member/$40 non-member
plus $20 materials fee per person

Classes start at 7 p.m.

A fun night out at CALC.

Class & materials fee includes all materials and instruction as well as beverages and snacks. All skill levels welcome- our experienced potter, Thom Bissey, will insure that you’ll create a successful piece.

Private classes can be arranged for groups of 6-10 people

Thom Bissey has been a professional potter since 1987, he was educated in high-fire ceramics but moved to alternative firing experimentation. His work has been shown nationally and internationally.

Open Paint Studio

Thursdays at 7 p.m. •  $10 per session

Work along with other CALC artists! Session begins with a 15-30 minute demonstration on various techniques followed by a 2 hr independent work session. Bring Your own materials, work on Your own project.

October 26 • Carol Reed, Facilitator

The differences and similarities between oils & acrylics will be explored in the demonstration. Carol will show how these two painting mediums can be used.

Demonstation will be “Basic Differences in Acrylic Paint Products”. Cathy will provide a variety of products for you to try and discuss their uses.

CALC Refund Policy for Art Classes

Carlisle Arts Learning Center does not provide a cash refund for cancellation of art classes, unless the class is cancelled by CALC. If the student cancels with a notice of at least 30 days prior to the start of the class a gift certi cate will be issued for 100% of the class fee. If the student cancels with less than 30 days prior notice a gift certi cate will be issued for 90% of the class value.
