2007 Juried National Small Works Exhibit

ELIGIBILITY: Open to U. S. artists 18 and over. All original fine art media accepted. Work must have been completed in the past two years. Entries are juried by actual works; do not send slides.
SIZES: 2D work: Outside frame dimensions no longer than 12 inches in either direction. 3D work limited to 12"x12"x12", including base or pedestal.
FRAMING: Wood or metal frames only, no plastic or metal-sectional frames. Proper framing with screw eyes and wire required, no sawtooth hangers. Glass and mats must be clean, unscratched, and accurately cut.
ENTRY FEE: $40 for 1-3 works, and includes return postage, with insurance up to $200; $30 for works that will be picked up locally. Artwork not accepted or unsold will be returned after close of show. Check/money order should be made out to CALC.
SALES: All entries must be for sale, priced no lower than $75, in increments of $5.
AWARDS and/or ribbons will be awarded. Judge TBA.
COMMISSION: 30% commission will be taken from sales.
INSURANCE: While every precaution will be taken to safeguard works, CALC cannot be responsible for loss or damage to artwork while in their possession. It is the responsibility of the artist to insure their works. Submitting entries to this exhibit constitutes agreement.
SHIPPED ARTWORK: should be in a sturdy corrugated box, protected by bubble wrap or rigid foam. Please, NO STYROFOAM PEANUTS. Sculpture must be individually boxed and labeled with artists name and title. Individually boxed sculptures may be combined into one box to be shipped.

It does this via classes and workshops, exhibits, and participation in community events. Since its founding in January 1992, CALC has offered a variety of courses for children and adults.
